The process of registering as a sole trade or a partnership is simple and the registrations can be completed online. However, if you want to start a limited liability company, there are a few extra steps involved. You are required to register your company with Companies House – this is the governing body that handles registration of limited companies in the UK. You are also required to inform HMRC that the company will be liable for Corporation Tax.

There are also several documents that needed to be submitted to Companies House, such as the “Memorandum of Association” and “Form IN01”.
